We spent Christmas this year with the Shaha's here in Arizona. We love the beautiful weather and the bright sunshine here! We kept the holiday nice and simple as my brother Mike was recovering from surgery and Henry was working through bronchitis and an ear infection. Despite all that, Henry was very excited for Christmas morning! He waited on the stairs to make sure Santa had come and gone--a Pugh family tradition that is being adopted by the next generation.
Henry really got a kick out of the wrapping paper. He doesn't understand the concept of unwrapping a present yet, but he still had fun. We had to be careful not to let him eat any tissue paper--it was just so crackly and tempting!

After Christmas we spent a couple days in Utah with Kevin's family. This was Henry's first plane ride! We were on the very last row which meant our seats didn't recline and we were kept company by those waiting for the bathrooms. Despite the flight being delayed, Henry slept through most of the adventure--what a perfect boy! We even got to board from the back of the plane. However, I did feel sorry for the girl sitting next to us when we had to change a poopy diaper on our laps--it couldn't have been too bad because she just put her headphones on and went to her happy place.
Utah was so cold! But we are grateful we could see both sides of the family this Christmas.

Hey! So glad you had a great year! Happy Christmas from here in Germany! Love and miss you guys!
